COWICHAN 2008 NORTH AMERICAN INDIGENOUS GAMES PARTICIPATION BY TRIBAL JOURNEY MEMBERS:
Rehearsal Day, Saturday August 2nd
All Tribal Journey members who would like to participate in the Opening Ceremonies have been invited to help escort the Games participants youth into the site of the Opening Ceremonies. We’ve asked for 1,000 drummers to help sing the Quw’tusun Victory Song at the Opening Ceremonies, and Aug 2nd is the day for rehearsing this process.

After the opening of the Games, Cowichan will perform their protocol & giveaway.
The Cowichan 2008 North American Inidigenous Games August 3rd - 10th. Come an join the over 5000 athletes and 3000 artisans from 25 First Nations across North America in a celebration of youth and culture.
